# Quickstart

## Getting Started

#### 1. Create a user & authenticate

Access your workspace at [https://app.syncrone.fi](https://app.syncrone.fi/). You’ll receive an email with your login credentials or activation link once your account or trial is ready.

⏱️ Trial accounts are usually activated within 2 hours. You’ll receive an email notification once your workspace is ready.

#### 2. Add Accounts

Add the wallets and accounts you want **Syncrone** to track — including on-chain addresses across multiple chains. As you add them, Syncrone will automatically synchronize holdings, DeFi positions, and balances from all added accounts.

#### 3. Explore Syncrone Insights

Once indexing is complete, the Portfolio and Performance pages begin showing key analytics for your portfolio:

* Total NAV and PnL evolution
* Token and protocol allocations
* ROI, realized vs unrealized PnL, and historical performance

Depending on the portfolio size and number of chains, full historical reconstruction may take several minutes to complete.

## Snapshots

Syncrone operates through a dynamic snapshot system that continuously captures the full state of your portfolio, including balances, positions, valuations, and rewards, at specific points in time. Each account tracked by Syncrone automatically receives a daily snapshot to ensure a consistent record of portfolio evolution.

Unlike static systems, Syncrone updates data every time you interact on-chain, meaning that your metrics and valuations are always refreshed to reflect the latest on-chain state. When a new wallet is added, **Syncrone goes back to reconstruct its complete historical activity, starting from the very first ever interaction of that address**.

This approach guarantees both long-term consistency and near real-time accuracy, allowing Syncrone to deliver precise NAV and ROI calculations that extend as far back as your earliest transactions.
