# Data refresh cadence

Syncrone’s data engine is built for **block-level precision** while remaining efficient enough for real-time use. It uses a hybrid refresh model combining **scheduled snapshots** and **event-driven updates**.

1. **Daily Snapshots:** Every tracked wallet automatically receives a daily snapshot capturing full portfolio composition, valuations, and rewards.
2. **On-Interaction Refresh:** Each time a user interacts on-chain, Syncrone revalidates the latest block data to ensure live accuracy.
3. **Historical Reconstruction:** When a wallet is first added, Syncrone backfills data from its **first-ever on-chain interaction**, rebuilding the full history of positions and balances.
4. **Cross-Protocol Synchronization:** All block numbers are shared across protocols to allow exact time-series alignment.

This design ensures every metric — NAV, PnL, utilization, yield — is **time-consistent, reproducible, and verifiable**.
